MDNR Hunter Safety

Due to unforeseen circumstances hunter’s safety has been canceled for 2023

This is now a one day course (per MDNR guidelines), covering safe gun handling, and instruction in shotgun, rifle, archery, muzzleloader, handgun, hunting technique and more.

The DNR Hunter Safety course hosted at the CRGC is acclaimed as one of the best offered in the state.

Cedar Rod and Gun Club offers shooting sports for the sportsman. The Clubhouse and Ranges are located on Sullivan Road North of Leelanau County Road 616 in Cedar, Michigan.
