Cedar Rod & Gun Educational Foundation
The foundation was established in 2001, the Cedar Rod & Gun Club Foundation is dedicated to promoting and sustaining shooting sports, education, and conservation activities.
Our Mission
The Foundation's mission is to:
- Encourage the growth and enjoyment of shooting sports.
- Provide educational programs for safe and responsible practices.
- Support conservation activities that benefit our community.
- Over 600 youths have participated in the Youth Trap Program!
- The Youth Trap program is open to anyone between 12-18 years of age. The Foundation supplies, the range, shotguns, ammo, and instruction.
Youth Programs We Support
The Foundation proudly underwrites key youth-focused initiatives every year, including:
- Youth Trap League (Spring): Fostering skills, confidence, and camaraderie in young shooting enthusiasts.
- MDNR Hunter Safety Program (Late Summer): Teaching vital safety practices to the next generation of hunters.
